One of the stars of Stoneleigh show 2018 was the latest Porsche-based body conversion from ANuDimension. It joins their original model, the GTB, in their line-up and is the GTB RS, which bears a pretty strong resemblance to a 911 GT3 RS. Like its brother, it uses the first Porsche Boxster generation (987) as the donor and you can use 2.5-litre, 2.7-litre or top-of-the-shop 3.2-litre variants. Designed to be easy, it’s just a panel swap project, so you don’t have to worry about welding, fabrication or grafting on a brand-new suspension configuration as none of that is needed here. GTB RS kits start at £7500 and even using a good donor, you should be on the road from around £20,000, once you’ve added paint. The GTB kit costs from £5300.

Una delle principali attrazioni allo Stoneleigh show 2018 è stata l’ultima conversione su base Porsche realizzata dal team di  ANuDimension. Si aggiunge alla prima versione, la GTB, nel loro listino e si chiama GTB RS, ricorda molto da vicino la 911 GT3 RS. Come il precedente kit sfrutta come base la prima generazione della Boxter (987) e quindi come donatore si può usare un 2.5, 2.7 e la più potente variante 3.2. Il kit è disegnato per essere facile da montare, semplicemente uno scambio di pannelli di carrozzeria in modo da non doversi preoccupare di tagliare, saldare o definire un nuovo schema delle sospensioni, nulla di tutto ciò è richiesto. Il kit GTB RS parte da 7500 sterline (circa 8500 euro), anche usando una buona vettura di base si arriva su strada con circa 20000 sterline (circa 22700 euro) una volta verniciata. Il kit GTB costa 5300 sterline (circa 6000 euro). Vista la base questa conversione ha il pregio di poter tenere il marchio della casa.

A cool new look for the BMW Z3! Guys at Nubodi Automotive (UK) created a really nice kit called Kalifornia to give to the german spyder a classic italian style. The final result isn’t a copy but an elegant hommage to one of the coolest Ferrari ever made. Even without the prancing horse badges the car would be so stylish. If you’re bored of the Z3 body shape and want something more interesting make a call to these guys. They also have two more retro kits for the Z3, the Kobra (AC Cobra syled) and Z300S (inspired by classic Maserati).
